23 July 1997 Dear Friend: Summer is upon us once again. We hope you have found the time to relax, vacation, and, in general, slow the pace of life just a bit. Summer for us means another Gathering of ERGYS Enthusiasts. Last year’s edition was great fun, so we’ve planned an encore. Once again, Dr. Roger Glaser and the Institute for Rehabilitation Research and Medicine have graciously agreed to co-host the event. This year the “Gathering” will consist of a reception on the Wright State University campus the evening of September 6. Details are provided in the enclosed flyer. We are also happy to announce that next year the ERGYS Gathering will be held in New York City, co-hosted by The Mt. Sinai Medical Center. The date is tentatively set for September 26, 1998, with seminars starting in the late morning, followed by a reception in the evening. We’d like to thank Dr. Kristjan Ragnarsson and Susan Pollack Feldman for their enthusiasm for bringing the 1998 ERGYS Gathering closer to the many ERGYS/REGYS centers in the Northeast.
